Timothy P. Murphy is the former Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Murphy joined the FBI in September 1988. He has formerly served in FBI field posts in cities such as Newark, Tampa, Washington, DC, and Cincinnati along with several post at FBI Headquarters. Murphy has investigative experience in a number of matters including counterterrorism, organized crime and drug trafficking. His experience also expands into undercover and surveillance work. Murphy’s executive experience includes being the special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office, special agent in charge of the Cincinnati Division, and a member of the Director’s Special Agent in Charge Advisory Committee.
White House needs to get act together
Mack McLarty – is Chairman of McLarty Associates – which he co-founded in 1998 following a distinguished record of business leadership and public service – including various roles advising three US Presidents: Bill Clinton – George H. W. Bush – and Jimmy Carter. Mr. McLarty is also Chairman of the McLarty Companies – a fourth-generation family transportation business.  As President Clinton’s White House Chief of Staff – Mr. McLarty helped enact the historic 1993 deficit reduction package – the North American Free Trade Agreement – the Family and Medical Leave law – and the landmark welfare reform legislation that enabled more than 6.8 million people to move from welfare to work.  As Counselor to the President Clinton – Mr. McLarty advised on a broad range of international and domestic issues.  Mclarty is a member of “No Labels” a group dedicated to lowering boundaries between Democrats and Republicans.
China the next frontier for the movie business

Richard Gelfond is chief executive officer of IMAX Corporation, one of the world’s leading entertainment technology companies.  Under his leadership, IMAX has evolved from a niche purveyor of nature and science documentaries to a Hollywood movie force — both as high-tech exhibitor and a creative partner in the movie-making process.  IMAX has more than 1,226 theatres in 75 countries. In 2017, IMAX is expecting a blockbuster year from tent poles films including The Fate of the Furious, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Transformers: The Last Knight, Dunkirk and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  Under Gelfond’s direction, IMAX entered China more than 15 years ago just as the nation’s entertainment, film and exhibition industry was developing. Growing as it did alongside the industry, IMAX has become a key part of the nation’s movie-going culture. Today, China is IMAX’s second-largest and fastest-growing market with more than 400 theatres open and is embraced by audiences across the country as the best and most immersive way to see a film.

Kerry Kennedy is human rights activist and writer. She is the seventh of the eleven children of Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Skakel Kennedy. She was known as Kerry Kennedy Cuomo from 1991 until 2003. She is the president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation.  Since 1981 – Kennedy has worked as a human rights activist – leading delegations into places such as El Salvador – Gaza – Haiti – Kenya – Northern Ireland – and South Korea.  She was also involved in causes in China – Indonesia – Vietnam – India – Sudan – and Pakistan.  She established the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights (now Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights) in 1988 and was the Executive Director of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial until 1995 Kennedy also travels the country giving speeches and presentations and calling on her audiences to stand up and fight against human rights violations.  Kennedy’s life has been devoted to equal justice – to the promotion and protection of basic rights – and to the preservation of the rule of law.  This weel the Foundation has its annual awards in journalism.

Dr. Elizabeth H. Prodromou is Visiting Associate Professor of Conflict Resolution at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.  She is a Senior Fellow in National Security and International Policy at the Center for American Progress (Washington, DC) and a non-resident Fellow at The Hedayah International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism (Abu Dhabi).  She served as Vice Chair and Commissioner on the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (2004-2012), and she was a member of the U.S. Secretary of State’s Religion & Foreign Policy Working Group (2011-2015).  Her research focuses on the intersection of religion, democracy, and security, with particular expertise on religion and geopolitics in Europe and Eurasia, especially in the Near East and Southeastern Europe.  Her current research focuses on migration, religion, and security in Europe and Eurasia, as well as on response strategies of religious institutions to state repression.  She holds a Ph.D. and an S. M. in political science from MIT, an M.A.L.D. from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, and a B.A. in International Relations and History from Tufts University.  She is co-editor of and contributor to Eastern Orthodox Christianity and American Higher Education (2016) and Thinking Through Faith: New Perspectives from Orthodox Christian Scholars (2008).
Rita Cosby on Roger Ailes

Rita Cosby is one of the most recognized and respected broadcasters in America. She is a renowned Emmy-winning TV host, veteran correspondent and multiple best selling author, who anchored highly rated primetime shows on Fox News Channel and MSNBC. She is currently a special correspondent for the top-rated CBS syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition, does frequent hosting and reporting for CNN/HLN, and hosts “The Rita Cosby Show” on the legendary WABC Radio, the most listened to talk station in America. Heralded as one of the Most Influential Women in Radio in 2014, 2015 and 2016 by Radio Ink Magazine, she was also honored in 2015 and in 2016, with a total of four prestigious Gracie Awards for both “Outstanding Host” and “Outstanding Talk Show.” She has written New York Times Best Selling books. Her recent one, “QUIET HERO: Secrets From My Father’s Past,” details her fascinating discovery about her own father, a Nazi prisoner of war, who was saved by American troops.

Memorial Day film, “Just a common soldier
Tony Lo Bianco is an intentional star of stage and screen.  He was born in Brooklyn – New York – the son of a housewife mother and a taxi driver father.  He is known for his tough guy roles in the cult films The Honeymoon Killers – God Told Me To – and The French Connection. Lo Bianco was a Golden Gloves boxer and also founded the Triangle Theatre in 1963 – serving as its artistic director for six years. Lo Bianco won an off-Broadway Obie award for “Yanks-3 – Detroit-0 – Top of the Seventh.” Most notably – Lo Bianco was nominated for a Tony for his portrayal of Eddie Carbone in Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge.  He also won the 1983 Outer Critics Circle Award for this performance.  Lo Bianco first portrayed the larger-than-life 1934-1945 mayor of New York City Fiorello H. LaGuardia in a one-man show – Hizzoner.  Lo Bianco was a regular in Joseph Wambaugh’s TV series Police Story in the mid 70’s.  His many humanitarian efforts have earned multiple awards.

Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis – is an announced candidate for Mayor of New York, 2017.  She is a Republican and was elected to the New York State Assembly on in 2010.   Her district includes all of Staten Island and a large portion of Brooklyn.  Assemblywoman Malliotakis was recently named the State Chairman for the Marco Rubio Presidential campaign.  She is the daughter of immigrants – her father from Greece and her mother a Cuban exile of the Castro dictatorship.  She was the first Hispanic-American elected from Richmond County. She was re-elected to her third term in November 2014 with an overwhelming 73 percent of the vote.  Recovery from Hurricane Sandy has become a hallmark of her tenure as an elected official. Nicole’s district – which encompasses the eastern shore of Staten Island – was among the hardest hit by the October 2012 storm.  She is also a passionate advocate for animal rights and strengthening animal cruelty laws.
Gangs and water quality concerns in Suffolk County
County Executive Steven Bellone was sworn into office as Suffolk County Executive on January 1 – 2012.  He is the 8th County Executive in County history.  He previously served as Babylon Town Supervisor from 2001-2011.  County Executive Bellone – represents more than 1.5 million residents.  He has focused his efforts on saving taxpayer dollars through Government Reform – boosting Economic Development to create local and lasting Suffolk County jobs – improving Long Island’s Water Quality to protect the region’s water supply – and enhancing the Quality of Life of Suffolk residents by improving public safety and investing in County parks and roads.  County Executive Bellone has made improving Long Island’s Water Quality one of his administration’s highest priorities and introduced the Reclaim Our Water initiative.  In 2008 – Bellone created the first property assessed clean energy (PACE) efficiency program in the country – Long Island Green Homes.
Wrong to honor a declared terrorist

Ed Mullins – President Sergeants Benevolent Association – has been a member of the New York City Police Department since January 1982. On July 1 – 2002 – he was elected President of the Sergeants Benevolent Association by an overwhelming majority of its members. As President of the SBA – one of New York City’s most visible labor unions – and one of the largest police unions in the nation – he oversees the daily administrative and operational functions of an 11 -000 member organization with assets in excess of $180 million – he is the organization’s chief spokesman – advocate and visionary. He serves as Chairman and Trustee to the union’s Health Benefits Fund and Annuity Fund. He is a Trustee for the New York City Police Pension Fund – with fiscal holdings estimated to be in excess of $16 billion.
