Answer: Yes. This is fundraiser to benefit the Holy Institution Panagia Soumela. If you have financial hardship, please feel free to request an exception. You may email us at info@panagiasoumela.org
• Question: More than one person will be watching the same screen. Do we need to buy tickets for each person?
Answer: Yes. This is a Fundraiser for the Holy Institution Panagia Soumela.
• Question: Can I watch it on my mobile phone, tablet (iPad/Galaxy), or computer?
Answer: Yes. You can participate in the Glenti on all devices that accept a Zoom video call.
• Question: How do I pay?
Answer: Payments can be made through PayPal at tickets.panagiasoumela.org
Tickets for this fundraiser are $20 per person. You will receive a Zoom link to the event closer to the event date.
Note that you do not need a PayPal account to buy tickets. If you do not have a PayPal account, select the option to pay by a debit or credit card.
• Question: What should I expect?
Answer: We have allocated 50 virtual “tables”, which hold 6 Guests in each (“Breakout rooms”), so that friends and family an hour prior to the concert can gather in private and catch-up on news. Once the concert starts, all “tables” (“Breakout rooms”) will merge to create a concert hall for all the individuals. Alexis Parharidis and his orchestra will be connected to our virtual event via a broadcasting facility in Greece. If they want to, all Guests are encouraged at their home to clap and sing along. After the concert is completed, Guests will have an opportunity to have a backstage Q&A with the performers.
