Patrick Millsaps
is an American film producer and the founder and CEO of Londonderry, a parent company that finances films and makes equity investments in companies involved in the entire supply chain of the production of film, television and new media. Londonderry was founded to provide a greater number of substantive opportunities for women in the industry. Betsy McCaughey was the 72nd Lieutenant Governor of New York from 1995 to
1998.  She has been a fellow at the conservative Manhattan Institute and Hudson Institute think tanks. She founded the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths (RID) in reaction to a rise in anti-biotic resistant infections.  A historian by training – with a Ph.D. from Columbia University – McCaughey has – over the years – provided conservative media commentary on U.S. public policy affecting healthcare-related issues. Ambassador John Bolton was appointed as United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations on August 1, 2005 and served until his resignation in December 2006. Prior to his appointment, Bolton served as Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security from May 2001 to May 2005. Bolton has been a staunch defender of American interests. While Under Secretary, he repeatedly advocated tough measures against the nuclear weapons programs of both Iran and North Korea. During his tenure at the United Nations, he was a leading voice on the need for the Security Council to take strong and meaningful action against international proliferation and terrorism.  Previous positions he has held include assistant secretary for International Organization Affairs at the Department of State, 1989-1993; assistant attorney general, Department of Justice, 1985-1989; assistant administrator for Program and Policy Coordination, U.S. Agency for International Development, 1982-1983 and general counsel, U.S. Agency for International Development, 1981-1982.

Dr. Seth Shostak earned his B.S. in physics from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in
astrophysics from the California Institute of Technology. Since 2001 – he has been Senior Astronomer at the SETI Institute – a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to “explore – understand and explain the origin – nature and prevalence of life in the universe”. SETI Institute – located in Mountain View – California – employs over 50 researchers that study all aspects of the search for life – its origins – the environment in which life develops – and its ultimate fate. Dr Shostak is an active participant in the Institute’s observation programs and has been hosting SETI’s weekly radio show Big Picture Science since 2002. Before his involvement with SETI research – he used radio telescopes in the USA and the Netherlands – searching for clues to the ultimate fate of the universe by analyzing galaxy motion.  In 2010 – he was elected as a Fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and is the Chair of the International Academy of Astronautics SETI Permanent Study Group.

York College celebrates 41 years of education, May 10, 2017

President Marcia Keizs, is the sixth president of York College in Jamaica, Queens. York is a senior college of the City University of New York (CUNY) established in 1966.  The college enrolls more than 8,400 students in the liberal arts, career and professional programs on its modern 50-acre downtown Jamaica campus.  CUNY senior college offers majors in gerontology, biotechnology, information systems management, and a BS/MS degree in occupational therapy. York is home of the CUNY Aviation Institute and the Northeastern Regional Laboratory of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  During her tenure, President Keizs has led the completion of multiple facilities renovation projects that have enhanced the campus environment including building an appropriate technology infrastructure.   On May 10, 2017, York will honor the Catsimatidis’ family at the York College 50th anniversary.  For tickets go to: www.york.cuny.edu/benefit. Dr. Keizs started her CUNY career as an English professor more than 30 years ago before transitioning to administration. Prior to her appointment as president of York College, she was the vice president of Academic A airs at Bronx Community College/CUNY for seven years.

Kathryn Wylde White House meeting, ‘President Trump has our back.’

Kathryn Wylde is President and CEO of the nonprofit Partnership for New York City – the city’s leading business organization. Its mission is to work with government – labor – and the civic sector to build a stronger New York – with a focus on education – infrastructure and the economy. Prior to taking over the Partnership presidency in 2001 – Wylde was the founding CEO of both the Partnership’s housing and investment fund affiliates. She was responsible for developing and managing affordable housing and economic development programs that contributed to the renaissance of blighted urban neighborhoods across the five boroughs. With the investment fund – she developed a network of business leaders and investors that nurtured the growth of the city’s “innovation economy -” creating thousands of jobs and promoting entrepreneurial business initiatives across the five boroughs.  Wylde is an internationally known expert in housing – economic development and urban policy.  She has authored numerous articles and policy papers and has been recognized for her leadership by dozens of educational – professional and nonprofit institutions.  Wylde is a native of Madison – Wisconsin.

is a leading New York State attorney, lobbyist and communications specialist. His diverse background and extensive experience in law, business, government, education, and the not-for-profit community places him in a unique position to represent and advocate for a broad range of clients and causes.  He is a partner in Gotham Government Relations – a preeminent government relations – lobbying – and advocacy law firm.  David Schwartz, his partner, was an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County from 1993 through1997. Gotham’s accomplishments include: keeping Walmart out of NYC; stopping No Fault Insurance fraud; stopping illegal cigarettes – representation of supermarkets.  Gotham Government has recently opened an office in Washington DC.  There they will represent issues of New Yorkers to the Federal Government.
