Walker survived the 2012 recall election – becoming the first American governor to survive a recall effort. Walker was a candidate for his party’s nomination to the 2016 presidential election, and remains very active in the Trump campaign.

He has previously served as the Commissioner of the Boston Police Department (BPD) (1993-1994) – New York City Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner (1994–1996) – and Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) (2002–2009). The newly elected New York City in 2013 – Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that Bratton would return to the post of Police Commissioner in New York City. He also served in other diplomatic positions in Saudi Arabia – Lebanon – and Nicaragua – as well as in the Department of State. Reverend Michel J. Faulkner, is the Republican candidate for New York City Comptroller in 2017. Growing up in Washington, D.C., he was an all-star football player that became a freshman All-American and four-year starter at Virginia Tech. After college, Michel played one season (1981-82) with the New York Jets in the NFL. 
In 1988, Michel and his family moved to New York City where he served as Assistant Pastor and Director of the Lamb’s Center for the Lamb’s Church in Times Square. In 1993, Rev. Faulkner became the Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. In 2010, Faulkner completed his first book “Restoring the American Dream.” Reverend Faulkner is running a very spirited campaign for Comptroller in a year when upsets will become common.
