Greece has never been so close to America … as it is now with Turkish Airlines daily flights from Athens and six weekly flights from Thessaloniki. In an effort to further develop ties with the business world and the Greek community of America, THY organized a FAM trip to America.Turkish Airlines’ seven-member delegation, headed by Turkish Airlines General Manager in Greece, Mrs. Gulay Ozturk and Turkish Airlines Manager in Thessaloniki, Mr. Utku Yazan, visited New York and Chicago, conducting a series of meetings with distinguished people from the business and tourist sector. Turkish Airlines’ program included contacts with leading travel agents with high sales in Greece, business executives, as well as with representatives of the religious leadership and local media, having as a main purpose the increase of the tourist flow to Greece.
